Distinctive for his authentic yet catchy music and extravagant performance style, often with a touch of entertainment, wit, or boldness in his lyrics, Xtravagant (born Filip Krekáč, June 1, 1995) is a unique pop singer-songwriter in terms of music standards in Slovakia. Through the clever and creative approach to songwriting, lyrics, and performance, the talented music artist effectively amplifies the essence of his stage name.

In January 2025, Xtravagant signed an official music contract with the Slovak branch of MUSICA, a European international record label. This allowed him to sign a contract with a label that had supported, for instance, Austrian pop sensation Falco. Xtravagant succeeded in impressing the record label, primarily with his song ’The Electro Pop Symphony’, accompanied by a spectacular glamour-styled music video.

He writes English lyrics and sings in the English language. His artistic persona currently aligns best with modern electronic pop. However, as long as he can express and perform his authenticity, he does not hinder progress in general. In 2016, when he began making music at the age of 21, releasing easy-going tunes in the slightly rap/hip-hop genre with funny Slovak lyrics was the simplest form for him, back in the day, to express his attitudes. However, sooner or later, he discovered that his artistic nature and performance could be further developed. In his own words, Xtravagant says: “I want to make music that one will immediately recognize as me and my sound.“ Speaking of his unique style, the 30-year-old artist is more musically active than ever before. “I want my music to be heard more, I want to touch the listener’s feelings in my specific way, and I don’t plan to stop.“, he adds about his vision for his musical future.
