Characterized by an eccentric image and his lyrics handwriting, Xtravagant (born Filip Krekáč, June 1, 1995) is an electro-pop singer and songwriter from Slovakia. As a male artist offering an elaborate pop sound and a distinctive performing character, he is one of a kind in terms of Slovak standards. Speaking of the local music customs, his unconventional and extravagant performance, in all forms and manners the artist can show, is an inherent part of his complex artistic persona.

Starting in 2016, writing cheeky easy-rap lyrics and releasing humorous hip-hoppy songs was the simplest form for him, back in the day, to express his attitudes and extraordinaire stances. However, sooner or later, he discovered that his artistic nature and performance no longer had to be limited just to the musical patterns of hip-hop. With his drive to show off his passion for music, he forged ahead with his sound and performance and transformed into an electro-pop singer and songwriter performing in English, which allowed him to reach a bit wider audience.

In his own words, Xtravagant says: “I want to make music that one will immediately recognize as me and my sound.“  Speaking of his unique style, the 29-year-old artist is musically active like never before. “I want my music to be heard more, I want to touch the listener’s feelings in my specific way, and I don’t plan to stop.“ , he adds about his dream and vision of his musical future.
